We are on MATCH and cannot get processing anywhere.
MATCH screening happens before underwriting. An acquirer queries the database at application, and a hit ends most applications automatically, not because the acquirer has assessed the risk and declined it, but because it never reached an assessment. The listing persists for five years and covers the company, its principals, and their identifiers, which is why forming a new company with the same directors changes nothing.
What varies is how a listing reads. The reason code matters: excessive chargebacks is a commercial risk an experienced high-risk acquirer will price, whereas a fraud code is treated as disqualifying by most. The age of the listing matters, as does whether the terminating acquirer's own records support it. Some acquirers underwrite listed merchants deliberately, on terms (a higher rate, a rolling reserve, capped monthly volume, and staged limits) provided the file is complete and the listing is disclosed.
Concealment is what ends these matters permanently. A listing discovered after approval results in immediate termination, a second listing, and a reputational record with an acquirer who might otherwise have taken the account on disclosed terms.
How LTB Resolves It
LTB establishes exactly what is listed and under which reason code, then assembles the evidence an underwriter needs to look past it: resolved disputes, a corrected chargeback trend, revised billing descriptors and refund process, a strengthened AML framework, and processing history presented in full. Where the listing was miscoded or wrongly applied, the challenge to the terminating acquirer runs in parallel.
The relationship is placed with acquirers in LTB's network that underwrite listed merchants on current facts, with the listing disclosed and reserve, volume, and termination terms negotiated before approval. Processing is provided by the acquirer or payment institution (LTB is not a payment institution and holds no funds), and the practice prepares the file, places it, and stays with the matter until the account is live.
