Mainstream firms decline high-risk industry work as a matter of internal policy, not judgement on the client. Their professional indemnity cover, their own bank, and their network's risk committee treat gambling, adult, and crypto revenue as a category to avoid, and an engagement is refused before the numbers are seen.
The technical work is also genuinely different. Revenue arrives through processors, PSPs, and sometimes digital assets, with rolling reserves, chargebacks, and settlement lags that have to be reflected rather than netted. Multi-entity portfolios carry intercompany balances that must be consistent across jurisdictions with different statutory formats. Where a licence exists, player funds or customer balances are not the company's revenue and must not be presented as such.
Books maintained loosely become a banking problem later: source-of-funds and continued-relationship reviews are answered with financial statements, and statements that cannot be reconciled to processor settlements invite exactly the scrutiny a client is trying to avoid.
How LTB Resolves It
LTB places the engagement with accountants in its network who already work with high-risk industry revenue and understand processor settlement, reserve movements, and digital-asset positions, and who will accept the file on its facts.
The practice defines the chart of accounts and the reporting cycle across the whole portfolio, so each entity's statements meet its local statutory format while remaining consistent with the others, and so the figures answer a bank's or a regulator's questions without rework. LTB prepares UAE simplified financial statements in-house and coordinates every other jurisdiction, keeping a single point of contact for the client.
